Sustainability & North Carolina Lands

April 19 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

The Bryan School Climate Committee, UNCG International Programs, and the UNCG chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization invite you to a lecture from Dr. Muriel Fadairo, Professor of Management Science at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, where she serves as the director of the doctoral school in human and social sciences, encompassing business and law. Her research focuses in particular on franchising, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable business models.

This discussion will primarily focus on the potential financial challenges encountered by families aiming to conserve lands in North Carolina, specifically in preserving their farms and forests across generations. These challenges encompass the effects of high taxes related to land retention. Addressing such challenges requires meticulous planning and the exploration of diverse strategies.
